BLUEBERRY PEACH COBBLER

Fruit:
¾ Cup Sugar (½ cup and ¼ cup)
2 Cups Blackberries
4 Peaches Peeled and Sliced
½ Tablespoon Vanilla Paste (or Extract)
1 Shot Glass Crown Peach

Ingredients For the Batter:
1 ½ Sticks Unsalted Butter
2 Cups Flour
2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
2 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Milk

Directions For Fruit:
1. In a small bowl mix ¼ cup sugar with your blackberries and let sit.
2. In a small saucepan over medium heat add your peaches, ½ cup sugar, vanilla paste and shot of Crown peach.
3. Cook until your peaches soften (about 5-8 minutes) stirring often.
4. Once peaches have cooled add blackberries and mix together.

Directions for Batter and Cooking:
1. Preheat oven or smoker to 350 degrees.
2. In a XL cast iron skillet or 13×9 baking dish melt your butter.
3. In a mixing bowl mix together your flour, baking powder, sugar and milk.
4. Pour batter over your melted butter. Blend lightly.
5. Spoon fruit mixture over your batter.
6. Cook 45-60 minutes or until your cobbler is golden brown.
